British four-piece band Pop-Rockers “The Hot Damn” are bringing some vibrant colours along with witty lyrics, punchy riffs and fierce harmonies this autumn with a new single the sugar-infused power pop anthem “Live Laugh Laugh”. The band are armed with witty lyrics, punchy riffs and fierce harmonies that will have you dancing madly before you know it.
The track is described by the band as “a giant dose of a good time, cheesy rock, guaranteed to put a smile on your face. It has a wide range of appeal that screams positivity and just brightens up the day of anyone who hears it. The band’s singer Gill Montgomery comments: “It’s a parody of those motivational signs which were very popular in kitchens in the late noughties. There’s a lot of doom and gloom in the news but we want to spread a little cheer. Shake off the negative and just enjoy whatever it may be! Life! Love? New music”.
The band burst onto the UK live music circuit in 2021 and has since completed multiple UK tours as well making memorable appearances at Steelhouse, Firestorm, Nozfest and Loverocks festivals. They have already been playlisted by BBC Introducing, Planet Rock, Kerrang!, and Classic Rock Magazine. The band are whole-heartedly bringing tie-dye back into fashion with an incredibly fun and vibrant video. With their debut album set for release in early 2023, their future looks very colourful. Most rock bands prefer the colour black, but not The Hot Damn, they are taking a leaf out of 50’s rock n rollers Showaddywaddy book with their bright coloured eye-catching suits. The band are a formidable live outfit and is a breath of fresh air in the world of mostly male-dominated rock.
