Bournemouth’s newest alternative rock band have just released their 3rd single ‘Void’ and the song is accompanied by an moody atmospheric performance video shot by Helen Phillips Media. The band have come together as a unique jigsaw puzzle featuring a Pop Singer, Alt Rock Guitarist, Funk Bassist and Metal drummer. With this mixing pot of influences the band had created their own unique sound.
“Void” is the follow up to the band’s singles “Blend In”/”Falling Out” and see the band exploring their own rudiments. With it’s teasing intro before going straight into industrial sounding effect fed guitars, huge drum fills and propulsive foundation of the powerful basslines. “Void” grabs you right from the start, Tia’s pure vocal melodies joins and are easily able to rise above the instrumentation. Her vocals are joined with atmospheric screams that echo the frustrations the are emitted from the profound and relatable lyrics. The band appear to have not set out to follow any trends or set influences, the quartet have joined forces to create something quite substantially original.
