In September Continental Liaison release the remastered collection “Three Minutes… Three Chords – The Singles 2014-2018” in the light of their recent tragic event. The band tragically lost their frontman Bam, after a short illness in January, with Raz & Gwyn being keen to honour Bam’s memory by reissuing their early work. The loss is still raw with the duo feeling an acute sense of injustice after losing their friend at such a young age. The band’s recent statement to the media confirmed that duo planning their next steps. “This is our past, we are the future”
The 10 year anniversary of their first single has prompted a reappraisal of their early hard to find single and EP tracks, written and recorded as Continental Liaison exploded onto the electro post punk scene, brimming with ideas, energy and arrogance. These tracks have been fully remastered to ensure the quality meets the high standards of the songs whilst maintaining their punk DIY ethic.
The early singles from Continental Liaison, re-mixed and re-mastered. It’s been 10 years since “Series Of Events” was unleashed onto the world, so it seemed fitting to collect together the singles that showcased Liaison’s embryotic electronic sound. “Three Minutes… Three Chords – The Singles 2014-2018” will be released on the 27th of September 2024 on cassette and digital platforms.
