A five-piece, multi-national; original Samba Rock band based in Southampton “Tuto Tribe”, release a joyful Samba/Reggae/Pop love/lust song called “Magnetize”. This marks a significant milestone for the band as it is their first English language single with their first three singles having been sung in Portuguese, which is the first language of extrovert Brazilian multi-lingual lead singer and principal songwriter, Tuto Marcondes. The band was born from a fusion of diverse influences which include Jorge Ben, The Doors and Manu Chao; creating a modern, bright Brazilian sound with catchy, sing-along hooks and rhythms influenced by Samba; Rock, Jamaican music and Jazz, delivered live through fun-fuelled and interactive shows.
The five-piece blend colourful elements of World music and Pop, with catchy rhythms and smouldering harmonic saxophones with Tuto providing his enchanting vocals. He delivers the sizzling romantic lyrics, showing clearly that he knows the universal language of love. “Magnetize” explores the discovery of a new love and the dance of sexual energies, with the lyrics underpinning a strong New Romantic connection “we magnetize like the earth and the moon” with the sing-along “la la la la” sections for everyone to celebrate and the brightness of a new relationship.
