Punks and Rockers once again Unite To Honour Friend’s Memory in aid of Cancer Research UK for the fourth year…
Faren “Fazza” Short was obsessed with music and particularly live music, attending thousands of gigs throughout his life, supporting national and local bands. Faren died in 2021 after a brave and dignified battle with cancer; his legacy is one big party to celebrate his life, featuring bands that Faren himself we believe would have approved of.
Friends David Chinery (Chinners) and Ross Ferrone were given a letter after Faren’s death and were asked to put this fitting celebration together. The first event was such a success that it was decided that it was to be made an annual event thereafter…
This years event will be held at a new venue for the event; the Allendale Centre in Wimborne on Friday 11th October from 4pm and will feature two stages an acoustic and an electric with a line-up of top talent that we know Faren himself would have approved of. All the profits from the gig will be donated to the Cancer Research UK charity…….
