Much-loved local music event Cursus Cider & Music Festival returns to Dorset on the bank holiday May 24 – 26, promising another weekend of fantastic live music and good vibes. Now in its ninth year, Cursus is an intimate festival with just 500 tickets available. The result is a friendly, inclusive event with none of the queues, high prices and hassles of a big festival. The music offering punches well above its size with the likes of Mista Trick, Black Water County, Millie Manders & The Shut Up, Nick Parker, The Freeborn Brothers, Gecko, Slackrr and Skimmity Hitchers already announced and
many more yet to come.

Cursus Festival 2024

Located on Myncen Farm (the home of Cranborne Chase Cider) in the beautiful surroundings of Cranborne Chase, Cursus is family-friendly with a dedicated DIY Den activity area for kids to make friends and explore different skills. The DJ tent, rural craft demonstrations, camp fire and tuk tuk rides make this a diverse and fun experience for everyone. Live-in vehicles are welcome as well as tent campers. Festival Organiser Kev Davis said; “We’re proud of our reputation as a down to earth, fun and inclusive event. Whether you’re a seasoned festival-goer or complete beginner, you are welcome to Cursus for a bank holiday to remember!” Adult weekend tickets start at £99 with big discounts for children. Previous years have sold out in advance so early booking is recommended.
