Running away with romantic tales of falling in and out of love, Clemencie discuss coming of age and growing into your own skin. Synth pop meets indie rock, this 5 piece makes you want to dance around your bedroom and shout along to lyrics about an ex you never dated.
Clemencie combines the honest lyrical style of Holly Humberstone with the dark synth soundscape of Wolf Alice and danceable pop feel of Blondie. Newly formed and UK based, Clemencie is lead by front woman Grace Bland (Grand Finalist of The Open Mic UK Competition 2020, held at The 02 in London).
The band’s recent single “Formal Wear” has been championed by Spotify’s editorial team and met with a warm reception from their audience, with pre-sale tickets for the track’s release party selling out in under 3 hours.
