Prolific music creater Matt Park aka Bite The Boxer announces new release Haunted Remains. The album is part compilation of the singles released in 2022, and part new material. Amongst the previously released songs are Forgotten, Like A Ghost and Way Out, all of which enjoyed national radio airtime. The new songs on Haunted Remains are Falling, Sad Eyes and Too Far Gone, with alternative versions of Like A Ghost and Forgotten bringing the number of tracks on the album to 8.

Bite The Boxer (AKA Matt Park) has this to say of the new album: “I am so proud of the music that I released in 2022; the singles that I put out were a big step forward for Bite The Boxer. I am putting out this collection of songs as an album as a way of wrapping up the year and showcasing what I have been upto over the last year and packaging it in a way that is easy to listen to from start to finish.”

What started off as an anonymous synthwave project in early 2020, as a way of sharpening his music production skills during lockdown, Bite The Boxer has transformed into a multi-genre, single-person, DIY production project spanning altpop, synthwave, cyberpunk, ambient, chillwave, lo-fi. Debut album The ’86 Sound was released in August 2020, followed by a glut of singles and the breakout EP – A Stream Becomes A River, which was released on 15th October 2021. On the back of the success of A Stream… Bite The Boxer moved to a slightly more commercial, yet alternative sound for the widely-praised single, Forgotten, in April 2022 and Like A Ghost in June 2022.
