Brother’s Joe & Charlie are currently one of Bournemouth’s brightest musical exports with their band Raygo Bloom. The duo rely on their acoustic guitars, light percussion and their wonderfully sublime sibling harmonies. This month sees the release of their new single “Laugh About It”; which came together when the pair were having a simple jamming session one evening. The riff popped up and they threw a new chord progression together and put the lyrics together, all within the time it took them to drink a couple of cold beers. The track is about those horrible rumours causing strains on people’s relationships and just hoping, one day you could look back together and see the funny side of it.
Their brother Max of Jam Visuals has put together a stunning 13-minute film to accompany the track; you can see this below along with a video, giving you the lowdown on the making of the film. It features the Walker brothers exploring some local scenic coastal and countryside locations on an intrepid treasure hunt, only to find an intriguing message from the future.
The track features an abundance of creative talent that shows just a small slice of what these local lads are capable of. They show some super proficient skills with their six strings and beautifully complement each other. On top of this, their voices provide some appealing harmonic goodness and sound like a modern-day version of the Everly Brothers. All the tracks that they have released to date are extremely radio-friendly and would appeal to a wide range of different audiences.
