News: March’s Live & Unheard Will Be On 10th March at Lighthouse In Poole
on February 16th, 2022 at 21:10Featuring: Soulhole, The Samurais, and Nory J
Soulhole
Soulhole is four guys from the south coast of the UK, with a provocative fusion of funk-rock and blues. Their sound fuses influences from an eclectic array of genres in popular music and after winning “The Sound Of Summer” in London, Soho, and getting the chance to play Bestival, the band can’t stop performing. With funky guitar riffs and a captivating keys/synth player the rhythm section has the freedom to lay down the foundations for the crowd to funk.
“These boys have something truly special, from their stage performance to their originality, dancing will be something you can’t stop.” (60 Million postcards)
The Samurais
The Samurais are a four piece rock band from Poole that formed in 2019. They started out playing covers gigs before working on their own original material and are shortly going to be heading into the studio to record their debut album which will be released in 2022. The band switch seamlessly from ballads to epic rock songs. Expect high energy with strong hooks and melodies from this exciting new band.
Nory-J
Nory-J is the indie-pop pseudonym of former Bath phenomenon Jack Spooner. The band turned solo croc pot, his artistry found itself with BBC Radio Bristol, international reviewers, and throughout NEXT and Marks and Spencer stores across the UK. If J- pop and Jazz conceived a musical mishap whilst listening to Gus Dapperton, Easy Life, and Boy Pablo.. you’ll have yourself some energetic and quintessentially British Nory-J numbers! Batteries not included. May contain nuts.
