South Coast 4-piece Indie band The Strangers Club return with a brand new single called ‘Suede’. The track was recorded in conjunction with locally-based Ayriss Productions with the talented Jordan Ayriss overseeing the recording and production. “Suede” sees the band turning on their heels with a change in direction from their previous releases. They take their music into a groovier indie, danceable territory; largely influenced by some of their favourite acts including Tame Impala, MGMT and Arcade Fire. Their first single of 2021 is an infectious piece with a bed of pulsating bass, coupled with punchy synthy snares and an overlaid melodic guitar riff. This is topped off with George’s smoothly delivered vocals which bring all the key elements firmly together.
After nearly a year out the band are well placed to kick things off again, once this pandemic is kicked in to touch. Previously they have played packed London shows in Brixton and Hoxton, along with shows in their hometown at the famous Sixty Million Postcards. They have a slot lined up at Barcode Festival at Magazine London warming up the crowd for top musical acts including Bastille, Dizzee Rascal, Becky Hill and Scott Mills.
“Suede” is available now and can be found on Spotify here.
