News: Scouting For Girls Announce New Album, New Single, and Mammoth Headline Tour

12 July 2019: Two years after officially marking a decade since the release of Scouting For Girls’ unstoppable million-selling eponymous self-titled debut album, the band are excited to announce the release of a brand new album ëThe Trouble With Boysí, consisting of unmistakable pop anthems set to have fans all over the world singing along in unison ñ set for release September 20th through Sony Music. The first single from the upbeat, fun and infectious new album is the satisfyingly catchy summer anthem “Grown Up”.
SFG commented; “We are so excited to release The Trouble with Boys, our first studio album in four years. Weíre really proud of it and genuinely feel itís our best collection of songs since our debut. Both albums really benefited from the extra time and care we spent writing and recording them. I can’t wait for people to hear it.”
Scouting For Girls also today announce a mammoth headline tour for Winter 2019. “The Trouble With Boys” tour will see the band play legendary venues such as London Shepherds Bush Empire and Manchester Albert Hall. During their last tour in 2017, Scouting For Girls played to more people than theyíve ever played to before, celebrating their 2007 debut album that went on to become triple platinum Number 1 and birthed the generation-bridging anthems of “She’s So Lovely”, “Elvis Aint Dead” and “Heartbeat”.
SFG commented; “Touring is our very favourite aspect of being in this band. Our 2017 anniversary tour was so incredible that weíre pulling out all the stops to beat it. Weíve got a handful of new tunes, some old fan favourites we havenít played for years plus all the big singles. We canít wait.”
