It’s almost a year since I first saw These Septic Stars and since that first time I’ve tried to catch them whenever possible. This is a band that feels as at home on a festival stage like Common People Festival as it does in a smaller venue. They describe themselves as “experimental alternative” and it’s hard to define them against the established music genres. They are an eclectic mix of rock, punk, electronic, metal. Clever music with charismatic front man Matt Savage engaging naturally with the audience.
Check them out if you can, there’s something a bit different about their music which draws you in. Loud, vibrant with massive riffs and strong bass and immensely watchable. There’s nothing I don’t like about this band!
