At The Fat Fox (18th Nov.), and The Joiners (20th Nov.)
Seething Akira played the local music scene twice in 3 days with a London date in the middle. Seeing a band twice in the space of a weekend might seem overkill but this is one band I will never get bored of watching. They are simply a force of nature. Photographing them is a massive challenge as there’s too much action to catch in one lens. Audience participation is a given at Seething Akira gigs.
The music is arena size and whilst the intimacy of a small venue is something special this band deserves to be on the big festival stages (as long as they still get to rampage through the audience!). Download Festival are you listening??
The Joiners gig was emotional as it was guitarist Harvey Ware’s last gig with the band. Seething Akira are an especially close band, and Harvey will always be part of the SA family. We’ll miss you though Harvey!
And finally it was a first for me to see a conga through The Joiners led up by Charlie Bowes. Truly epic.
