Southsea on a Friday evening is a buzzing, vibrant scene with venues such as The Fat Fox supporting live music. The chance to watch 4 bands at little or no cost (free before 9pm) well it’s a no brainer surely?!!

I’ve seen Bournemouth band Deltorers a few times and they are quite simply one of the best bands around. If you haven’t seen them yet just do it, you won’t be disappointed. Guaranteed. There’s something quite captivating about Deltorers’ performance. They’re a 3-piece band comprising Nathan Evans, Brenden Frankham and Zoot Hill Valler. Their music combines big, anthemic rock riffs and clever, subtle lyrics and vocals. There was story-telling in those songs combined with big noise, ear-blasting rock and significant testosterone on that stage.

Surely bigger things must be on the horizon for the band.

Playing at The Anvil, Bournemouth on 27 November and with a place on the Icebreaker Festival, Portsmouth in early 2017 the future looks shiny for Deltorers.
