When most people were sleeping off their New Years Day hangovers, the clean living Tim Heywood and myself, with our guest rock ‘n roll chameleon Ant Henson.
Making the trip on a stormy night into the warm dry Hope Fm studio to broadcast the weekly “Live Wire Live” local music radio show. Former Bournemouth resident Ant was visiting his family for Christmas so we thought we’d invite him in for a chat while we had the chance. He has moved to the bright lights of London to challenge himself, performing in different venues with lots of different performers.

Ant also had his 30 seconds of fame on national television when he got to appear on TV show “The Voice”, where sadly he did not win a place through to the next round but he did gain Will-I-Am’s phone number after chats about their shared passion for inventing. In the next year Ant has plans to release two self-produced albums which will represent two stages of his career, the past and the future. On the night there was also a preview of some material from the new albums, with a couple of acoustic tracks performed with his beautiful 12 string guitar. See the exclusive videos below.
