The legendary rockers have announced the rearranged date at Bournemouth’s O2 Academy on November 29th.
The lineup, features vocalist Ricky Warwick, bassist Marco Mendoza and guitarist Damon Johnson alongside Classic Thin Lizzy members Scott Gorham, Brian Downey and Darren Wharton they have gone from strength to strength since announcing their return in May 2010. They have been blowing away fans with 13 dates across the UK during January and further dates in February, Scott Gorham commented “The response has been amazing – there are some towns we haven’t played with this line up and demand for us to play there means we can add more shows, so here you are!!!”
The band, who have not released a studio album since 1983’s ‘Thunder And Lightning’, indicated earlier this year that they are considering recording new material together. Were this to happen, it would mark the first new music the band had released since the death of front man Phil Lynott in 1986. Thin Lizzy will play:
