Motorhead Announce 2012 UK Tour With Very Special Guests Anthrax
Including dates in Bournemouth and Portsmouth in November
Motorhead, dubbed the hardest working band in rock n roll, have confirmed that their annual run of UK dates will, as always, be taking place this November and this time they’re bringing the mighty Anthrax with them. Motorhead are a mindset, a belief, a way to live your life, a way to both survive and beat a society that sometimes seems intent on trying to grind you down. The iconic band is a not only a lifestyle, it is simply a MUST to see Lemmy Kilmister, Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee on stage. “WE ARE MOTORHEAD … AND WE PLAY ROCK’N’ROLL!” 37 years of power, glory and sheer voltage played by real legends, more than 20 studio records without ever changing their style.
In celebration of their 35 years on the road, last year the band released “The World Is Ours Vol 1 – Everywhere Further Than Everyplace Else”, a blistering DVD containing some of the finest moments from the tour. Just in time for the upcoming November dates, “The World Is Ours Vol 2” will be released, with the classics Motorfans demand, from “Overkill” to “Ace Of Spades” to “Killed By Death” as well as some old gems like ‘Over The Top’ and new favorites such as “I Know How To Die”.
Over the past 30 years, the Thrash Metal titan’s that are Anthrax, have achieved sales in excess of 10-million. The band has also received multiple Gold and Platinum albums, multiple Grammy nominations and a host of other accolades from the media, industry and fans.
